Suroor Horses Not In Quarantine
Godolphin trainer Saeed bin Suroor will be missing from the Spring Racing Carnival for the first time in a decade after it was confirmed on Thursday morning that none of his nominated horses would be entering quarantine for a trip to Melbourne.
Suroor had nominated 4 Euro raiders (Click here to read the full story) Emirates Melbourne Cup entrants Natural Scenery, Prize Money, Red Galileo and Winning Story were in consideration for a trip down under, as was Cox Plate-nominated galloper Best Solution.
Godolphin's hopes of Group 1 success during the spring will rest with local horseman James Cummings, as well as UK trainer Charlie Appleby who already has Francis of Assisi, Folkswood, Qewy and Kidmenever in quarantine in Newmarket ahead of their arrival in Melbourne on Saturday week.
