ATC To Launch Everest Carnival
Australian Turf Club has announced the renaming of its six-week Sydney Spring Carnival to Everest Carnival which will conclude on Saturday 13 October with the running of the world’s richest race on turf, the $13m The Everest.
The new identity reflects the success of the inaugural running of The Everest in 2017 and also ATC’s commitment to growing the race’s significance on the Australian sporting calendar.
Australian Turf Club’s Head of Marketing, Chris Bevan sees the rebrand as a further step in Sydney leveraging its highest profile racing event.
The impact of The Everest in its first year across Sydney and the global racing community was astonishing and this rebrand of our Spring racing calendar to ‘‘Everest Carnival’’ will only further highlight the world-class racing and fantastic on-course experiences available at Rosehill Gardens and Royal Randwick over Spring.
Everest Carnival will run from Saturday 8 September and conclude on Saturday 13 October with the second running of the $13 million The Everest”, said Mr Bevan.
An early booking price offering is available to customers with savings of up to 20% on General Admission tickets. Group bookings of 10 people or more can reap further savings of up to 40% off the price of a ticket at the gate. This offer includes adult tickets to The Everest Race Day, which can be purchased from just $32 during this early booking period, with further savings for group bookers and concessions.
The Carnival opens with Run To The Rose Day on Saturday 8 September which along with De Bortoli Wines Golden Rose Day (22 September) are the two features days at Western Sydney’s, iconic racecourse Rosehill Gardens.
