Smith Loses In Her Time and El Dorado Dreaming To Kris Lees
Everest contender and Group One winner In Her Time together with her stablemate El Dorado Dreaming have been transferred to Group One winning trainer Kris Lees' stable in the wake of a stewards' raid on Benjamin Smith's stable.
Owner Peter Brown said of the situation, "We have transferred the mare to Kris Lee's stable and the transfer has been approved by TAB and Racing NSW."
"Its a unfortunately situation. We dealt with it fairly quickly and responsibly. We had no other option." said Brown.
El Dorado Dreaming the sudden switch also means that he will be able to line up in Gr.2 Tea Rose Stakes - provided swabs taken from all Smith runners clear El Dorado Dreaming of any irregularity.
In Her Time meanwhile is being set for The Everest in partnership with slot holder TAB having secured the six-year-old mare.
Kris Lees said, "She is a highly talented mare who has come to us in difficult circumstances."
The Group One winning mare will continue her prep as planned and go on to race in The Everest in October.
