Doug's Drafted Into The Dubai World Cup Carnival (Horse Profile)

In his early days, he broke a track record at Keeneland (USA) on his debut no less at, he's raced at Royal Ascot in England, sold at auction in Dubai and performed wonders for Watson, including defeating five other 2018 Carnival winners in the earlier said, Garhoud Sprint.
The six-time leading UAE trainer Doug Watson may be looking at breaking all his previous records in this year's Dubai World Cup Carnival.
“Drafted had done really well since his win,” Watson said. “He really impressed me that night and he’s filled out since then. He never works with a horse because he works so fast and he has done even more in his works recently. He’ll stick to (1200m) for now and see how far that takes us. In his races, if he breaks on terms, he’s going to be coming at the end. You don’t want him to be get too far out of it early.
The son of Field Commission has won four of his nine starts. He features again in the Gr.3 Dubawi Stakes' field this evening. If all goes well for Watson's charge, he is pointed towards the Gr.1 Golden Shaheen later this year, on Dubai World Cup night.
