Viddora To Land In Dubai
Top Australian sprinter Viddora is set to break new ground for trainer and co-owner Lloyd Kennewell when journeying to Dubai to contest the Gr.1 Al Quoz Sprint.
She is expected to land in Dubai with Lloyd Kennewell's father and Black Caviar’s previous traveling rider Paddy Bell. A dual Group 1 winner in her native country, the 6YO recently disappointed in the 1200m Gr.1 Oakleigh Plate in the return after an 84-day layoff.
Last year’s Group 1 Moir Stakes winner will be up against the world’s best grass sprinters, with possible contestants including last year’s Gr.1 King’s Stand Stakes victor Blue Point, Gr.1 British Champion Sprint Stakes hero Sands of Mali, fellow multiple Group 1-winning Australian Brave Smash and Gr.1 Breeders’ Cup Turf Sprint winner Stormy Liberal alongside Australian sprinter Faatinah, Gr.3 Mercury Stakes victor Hit the Bid and capable local winners Ekhtiyaar, Mazzini and Riflescope.
