Mark Casse trained-Sir Winston was second in the Gr.3 Peter Pan (Gr.3), a local Belmont prep is expected to join the list along side Intrepid Heart, who ran third in the Peter Pan after some trouble leaving the gate. Global Campaign, the Peter Pan winner, is another possibility, but whose connections would prefer him to race in the Gr.1 Travers instead.
Preakness third place winner, Owendale's conditioner Brad Cox has not yet rule out the Last Leg of The US triple Crown.
Gr.2 UAE Derby winner, Plus Que Parfait, who landed a disappointing eighth in the Derby, Tax (14th in the Gr.1 Kentucky Derby) and Bourbon War (8th in the Preakness) are said to be in the mix.
