Suedois Bound For Inaugral Meydan Challenge
David O’Meara trained Suedois is once again bound for the Dubai World Cup Carnival. The 8YO will be aimed at the inaugural running of the US$175,000 Meydan Challenge although he is likely to contest the US$250,000 Al Fahidi Fort and the US$250,000 Zabeel Mile as well.
The George Turner and Clipper Logistics-owned gelding is a nine-time winner from 47 starts with victories which include the Gr.3 Prix de Meautry Barriere (2015), US$1 million Shadwell Turf Mile and Boomerang Stakes (2017), and Supreme Stakes (2019).
The son of Le Havre is currently in quarantine at Meydan.
